Eve in Hand seeks to promote an inclusive sexuality as a deterrent to non-consensual sexual violence, and to advance equality for all people, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. By opening doors to authentic sex using literature, art, music, and culture, and by serving as one forum for political activism, we strive to present the barest function of sex; as a tool for greater creativity, understanding of, and pleasure derived from activities that sustain life.

• That a culture that calls for sexual abstinence places responsibility for a false morality upon girls and women while making them passive agents in sexual dynamics.
• That a multi-gendered perspective of sexuality is not only authentic, but will bring about a decline in violence against girls, women, and others.
